Famed for its striking natural beauty and unique culture, the people of the Gyimes valley at the Eastern edge of Transylvania have cultivated a rich folk music repertoire that truly stands apart from surrounding areas. Join us to dive into these beautiful songs of catharsis and wonderful asymmetric dance songs!

​SPRING TIME CHANGES OCCUR DURING THIS SERIES!

Currently most participants in the Tulip and Rosemary Groups are based in North America, so we will shift the class time one hour earlier in Hungary starting March 8 when the US and Canada change their clocks in order to keep it the same for those participants. It will return to the normal class time on March 29 when Europe also changes its clocks. The Chestnut Group will not be impacted by time changes this series, as New Zealand and Australia’s time changes occur in April.​
