Organized by the Chicago Open University, the second annual conference was a source of professional development and networking for those who attended. There were sessions on communications/marketing, Hungarian folk dance from an non-Hungarian’s perspective, using Google Classroom for teaching young adults, a master class in folk dance methodology and of course, two táncház evenings with Gyanta Band and special guest Druszafolk (the Petõfi band from Hungary here for the year). A group of KCSP fellows also supported the event – from Cleveland, Toronto and Maryland.
